Our courses

Our courses provide an outstanding and flexible learning experience. We offer extended degrees with a foundation year, pathways into degree study, flexible undergraduate courses for part-time and mature learners, and apprenticeships.

If you would like to go to university but don’t currently meet the typical requirements for entry, we offer admissions through the alternative entry scheme.

You will be offered specialist support at every stage of your student journey.

My course gave me the skills I needed to progress on to a degree, it eased me back into education and wasn't overwhelming.

Full-time courses

Extended degrees with foundation year

These courses are designed for applicants whose backgrounds mean they are less likely to attend university (also known as widening participation backgrounds) and who do not currently meet admissions criteria for direct entry to a degree. This means we consider additional factors about your background when you apply.

On the course, you benefit from a foundation year which provides intensive support to enable your development of academic skills and knowledge. On successful completion, learners progress to a range of degree courses across all faculties of the University.
